Hello,
I?m Sophie Pask, a research assistant in Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford. I recently posted in the Parents Forum and just wanted to tell you a little bit about myself.
I work for a research project looking at the medical treatment of ?at risk? children who fall ill with a flu-like illness. We are now looking for parent/carer volunteers to join us for an informal discussion group to help us develop ideas about this research.
We want to make sure that the views and experiences of parents and carers are being heard and included into the research design and that we address any concerns that parents might have about their children being involved in research. We think it is really important to hear the views of parents with children who have diabetes, as it affects so many children and families in the UK.
Thank you so much for letting us use your forums.
For any questions please get in touch: sophie.pask@phc.ox.ac.uk
