Hello all, I had m annual hbA1c blood check recently and after being borderline pre-diabetic for several years now my recent result came back at 73. I couldn’t get an appointment with my doc till this coming Monday so I got myself a testing kit in order to check my levels and use it to inform the dr.
so for the past week I’ve been testing regularly, on waking up, before meals, 1 & 2 hours after meals and at bedtime, My levels are generally in the 11 - 15 range. On only 3 occasions have they been below10 with nothing lower than a 7. This is worrying me.
i wouldn’t necessarily say I have symptoms- I’ve always been a prolific urinator since I can remember. I have fibromyalgia so have constant aches and pains and fatigue. Just before last Christmas I did notice a considerable drop in energy levels which has persisted since.
Is there any advice on what I should ensure I ask my doc when I finally get to speak to him?
