Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Elle's here. I am simply introducing myself. I am hoping to come here frequently for chats, education and change :D About me... hmm harder than I thought  Simply put, I want to care about myself as much as I care about others 🙄 I am hoping that joining the forums and using the site will help raise the awareness I both want and need.
Warm wishes to you all 😉

Welcome! Something about me? I like knitting (surprise) 🙂

Hi Elle, I’m Sue very recently diagnosed, still trying to get to grips with it all. I work part-time, married, 2 children, 3 grandchildren and LOVE my static caravan in Pagham. Tel us more about yourself, when did you get dg, how are you coping?

Hey, I’m Emma, 38 years old and only recently diagnosed. Came as a shock, only discovered during routine tests after losing a baby at 16 weeks gestation in November. Been a horrible few months. He took ten years to conceive and was our first.

I’m type 2, on metformin and diet control currently.

Uhm....non diabetes related? I love Jeff Buckley, I have a crested Gecko named Dinks and I am a teacher in a special needs school.

Hi Elle, I’m about a year into my type 2 now and having followed a low carb plan, I have it nicely under control and have just had my metformin reduced by half. I love reading whilst having a long hot bath, I love walking the dog (I don’t have one so I borrow my neighbours 🙄) and I am bullied by my cat......but I love her 😳

Hello Elle’s . I’m lin dx 1994 . I love reading and doing jigsaws on my iPad ,
This is a great place for learning about diabetes from people who live with it, cyber support and friendship

Hi I’m Madeline, dx November. I have a houseful of plants, two teeny dogs, and brain fog that means I get v muddled with numbers, with varying results. Christmas was ummm interesting, and I bought a 4.5kg sack of pancake mix by accident last week.
