I recommend some extra salt @lauren1993x Salty olives or nuts are good. If you feel really rough, a rehydration sachet can help a lot. It’s not easy to balance fluid intake and salt/electrolytes.
How are we all coping in this not so mini heat wave, not just diabetes wise, but generally.
For us it means getting up at 6am to take the dogs out for a walk, but it does make for a very long day.
Breakfast on the patio is nice at 8am, but lunch is out of the question in 30 degrees in full sun.
Sleeping is ok for me as I take a sleeping pill, not so good for my wife or the dogs, but we do have a ceiling fan in the bedroom.
All in all we are coping, but our main concern is always the dogs
