I don't actually care if it's true or not TBH - the important thing is - 'they' heeded what was being advised and that's the only important bit really as far as the public are concerned.

Maybe that’s why Boris looks like a little boy who’s in a sulk after being found out. Not quite as useless as Donald Trump, who insists on calling this the Chinese Virus. He is probably unaware that the deadly Spanish Flu started with an American Farmer’s son who caught it from a chicken.

I read reports that one of Trump's ancestors died of the Spanish Flu.
I was suprised more people did comment on Trump's description on Hospital Ships, there white with red crosses on the side.
