Put a new pod on at lunch, came unstuck by 5pm 🙄

Didn’t knock it or get it caught just peeled off my stomach.

How’s everyone else getting on?

I need a hammer and chisel to unstick my pods after deactivation, but the Dexcom needs overpatches to stop it from falling off.

I have been melting in the heat (the joy of my home office being in the attic) but my CGM and pump maintain their limpet status.
Some time ago, Medtrum introduced hyper allergenic pumps. Before then, I needed hyperfix tape to act as a barrier. Now the pump sticks directly to my skin and it is a bit of a challenge to remove it every 3 days. I'd prefer it that way.

Ah nooooo!

My things have stayed stuck so far… but this kind of clammy weather does make me fear for sites and sensors for the first 24hrs!

Do you ever overtape @PhoebeC?

I should cut myself some slices of Hypafix for if any of mine start to come loose!

No I don’t use any tape or patches. They usually stick quite well. As others have said the previous pod was very stuck on and I had to prise it off.

This one is very stuck. Must just be dodgy one with not much stick, the flatter side of it was completely loose.

If I’d had tape I might have been able to stick it back down so I will get some.

Just noticed my current sensor is lifting a bit on on side, so I think I’ll be lashing it down with a bit of hypafix to try to get it to last the next 3 days
