Informative but oh such a monotonous commentary! Worth seeing this to the end tho.

@Jodee. The title of my thread is wrong and I don't know how to change it on this upgrade. Instead of Foods it should read VEGETABLES. However, the video itself does state vegetables.

Edited.

Surely no foods, veg or other, will reduce bgs? Increase it or have no effect, but not reduce.

Apologies for being a pedant!

Apologies not needed silentsquirrel but thanks anyway. Perhaps I should have phrased it to help control/manage bgs??

I could not stand the commentary nor the sloth like pace of it - do they think that diabetics are a bit slow on the uptake? Granted I've been spoken to in the same way a few times... but not for long.
Reliance of a low GI to reduce the impact of carbohydrate seems to be a common thing - yet, if you think about it - is spiking after X hours not the same as spiking after Y hours? Diabetics cannot deal with glucose so it accumulates in the blood - is that some great secret? It certainly seems to be to some people.
It also seems to be news that some foods are not available worldwide - okra for instance.

Thanks for posting @Wirralass - I get what you mean about the monotony of it all LOL but interesting nonetheless. Ive never heard of bitter melon, looked quite alien to me ! p.s..... and dont forget to include it in your daily diet!! 😉

Thanks Tee G ~ I'm glad the vid ran its course coz I was in two minds to stop it, glad i didn't. I agree, a couple of aliens but I won't lose any sleep over it.
PS. I won't if you won't!😉:D
PPS. Well done for reducing your HbA1c. Christmas or no Christmas you're on the right track Tee G.🙂

I prefer to steam my veggies apart from carrots (They take too long to cook!)
I could eat all the above veggies on one plate with a grilled 95g Chicken Breast without skin = 0 Carbs.
