Biggest ovarian cancer breakthrough in 15 years
Women with ovarian cancer have been given new hope after doctors got the go-ahead to treat them with a drug that stops tumour growth. Bevacizumab, also known as Avastin, is the first medicine in 15 years that has been shown to improve the outcome for those suffering the disease, experts revealed.

Taking two or more drugs makes patients more than twice as likely to fall over and hurt themselves. A study says blood pressure and cholesterol drugs are most likely to be a factor, regardless of age, according to the study in the journal Injury Prevention.
