AMRC charities voice concern over changing climate for UK scienceSeventy eight member charities, including Diabetes UK, joined the AMRC in a letter to The Times to ask highlight that they have asked the coalition government to sustain science funding and ensure an environment that allows charities to fund research on behalf of patients. Diabetes UK to fund new research
National charity Diabetes UK has announced it will fund a new research project designed to reduce the risk of birth defects in babies born to mothers with the condition and improve the outcome for pregnant women. Dr Iain Frame quoted.

A CHARITY is urging keen cyclists to get involved in Devon's first Big Bike Ride in Haldon Forest. Diabetes UK is staging the bike ride on Sunday, October 24, to help raise cash for those suffering with the condition.
