Health Canada has warned that certain insulin pumps may deliver too much or too little of the medication.
The notice, issued on Friday, involves several models of the Paradigm and Polyfin Insulin Infusion Sets, made by Medtronic.

Patients using these devices could be at risk from too low or too high blood sugar, which can lead to loss of consciousness or even death.

Yes I saw a Medtronic alert a couple of days ago. It warns against getting any moisture/insulin in the connection between the cartridge and the needle attachment at the end of the tubing which connects to the cartridge. There could potentially be a risk of over or under delivery of insulin if this connection is wet.
