Women have been needlessly banned by health and safety officials from heating up baby food in caf?s and taking children to a local allotment, a Government panel has found.
Other people have been told they cannot wear open-toed sandals to the office or ride in buggies on a golf course because of spurious health and safety rules.
The findings come from a new Government panel which has been set up to stem the tide of health and safety restrictions imposed on people by overzealous officials.
