Hi all,

In a couple of weeks Alex is having a couple of moles removed from his back - they have been itching him and the consultant decided its best to remove them. I have read on here that some people take longer than usual to 'heal' - so has anyone had stitches etc and, if so, how well did they heal afterwards?🙂Thanks. Bev

I have not found that I heal any slower from cuts, never had proper stitches, just alot of steristrips. healing from sports injuries seems to take forever now, I've had 2 injuries, currently my knee, and it's taking weeks to get better.

Hi Bev, the reason for not healing or taking longer is due to high blood sugars.
No other reason.
Stop worrying 😛 Young Alex will be fine. 🙂
I had major surgery a couple of years ago and had something like 35 staples holding me together. No problems healing

Problems with healing will usually only be if blood sigars are running very high, high blood sugars affect most processes in the body including healing. I'm sure Alex won't have a problem.

Thanks all!

Sue, if you could find a way to stop a mum worrying - you would be very rich! lol:DBev🙂🙂
