Headaches

I have certainly seen a reduction in headaches since I burnt the cholesterol lowering (not) diet sheets and no longer eat high carb foods.

I used to get acute and chronic migraines pre diagnosis. Since I started eating low carb nearly a year ago, I haven't had a single one and I had been suffering them for more than 20 years. I can even drink wine again which was one of my main triggers, so I would say that there may well be a link between dietary carbs and headaches, but my BG just went high last year when I was diagnosed and had been normal the previous year, so not specifically tied to BG levels in my case.

The only real diabetes-related headaches on my radar are ‘hypo hangovers’ from nastier lows.

If you are high it could be dehydration which causes headaches?
