Hi,
Have just started on insulin (Apidra and Lantus) and am getting night time headaches. Is it just due to my glucose levels dropping? They're not hypo low (7.1) but so much lower than the 25+ i've been used to. Am hoping they will stop once I get accustomed to the lower levels.

It could very well be Becky, that's quite a considerable drop in levels and your brain will be feeling very confused! I imagine it is something similar to a 'hypo headache' which I can get sometimes, particularly if I have a night hypo. I would hope that as you get more accustomed to the lower levels the headaches will ease, but do speak to your doctor or DSN if they are worrying you or persist, they should be able to put your mind at ease. Hope you are feeling much better soon 🙂
