Hello
I have had a headache for over a week now. Did 90 minutes of exercise this morning and blood test was 11. Before dinner, 16. I think I might have lost control of the t2 diabetes. Am isolated at home and have suffered a bereavement recently plus other stress related to work.
Am on 500mg metformin 2x per day.
Am I OK to wait until next week to speak to the nurse?
Bit worried.
Thank you Jane

Hi @Namaste my condolences for your loss, you certainly have a lot to deal with at the moment so it’s not surprising to see your bgl have gone a bit haywire too. The headache could well be related to stress or high levels or a bit of both.
Do you feel ok to wait until next week to speak with the nurse? If you are finding the prospect of that wait is causing further anxiety then you could always call 111 for a bit of advice.

Many thanks. I've just retested 2 hrs after dinner and it's 10.9 so still not great but I'll monitor it tomorrow and ring 111 if needed. Thanks for the advice. I thought I was feeling odd but put it down to losing grandma.
Thank you
