Hi all , hope your all ok .I am pleased with myself just had my hbalc results back they are 48 which I'm pleased with , in October it was 52 .I have been following a lower carb which was around 130g carbs over two meals breakfast and dinner .I confess no exercise at the moment, I didn't do anything for the 16 weeks I have been following this new way off eating whilst my results are slow, I can only think that with exercise it will degrease more .I did fall off the wagon over the Christmas period but I'm guessing I'm not alone but back on it again .I have had type 2 since 2016 but only went on metformin in July 2019 .,me personally didn't want to go straight in with very low carb , I wanted to experiment with the higher end and see what happens and it for me has worked and testing really helps, it may not do it forever but I will change accordingly. I also wanted to share better chlorestal results since this way off eating , if this information helps one person I would be happy., if people wish to share their stories off how long it took to lower their hbalc level then that would be much appreciated.

Great start @Kimblewoman

It’s a marathon, not a sprint, and it’s great that you’ve seen positive effects already and jumped straight back on the wagon 🙂

Onwards and downwards!

That’s great news.
Most of us slacken off a bit for special occasions, I am very pleased to hear you jumped straight back on the wagon afterwards.

Excellent news well done, keep at it.
