Hi all sorry for the depressing thread title
But I'm more angry at my self
For letting it slide
my hbac1 has been coming down it was 8.8 but has crept up to 10.1
my weight is now 100kg which I'm happy about but the hbac1 is up
I've got my diabetes mot on Wednesday so I expect a ticking off which will not make me happy 😡

Hi, do you have any idea why it’s crept back up? How’s the diet been, have you been eating more carbs than usual? Don’t beat yourself up about it and don’t be worrying about a ticking off, go prepared with a plan of what you intend to do, that will show that you have thought about it and recognise what needs to change, no one can criticise you for that if you show you are taking control 😉

I think more carbs and biscuits
that I'm scoffing need to get my head out of the sand
try to eat less bread
and search the forums on here for food I, m a shift worker so planning meals is a nightmare
and not getting annoyed when someone says your a diabetic you shouldn't be eating that grrrr

The good thing is you know your weaknesses, we all have them. I’m sure you can turn it around as you obviously had been doing well x
