My GP just phoned with my blood test results, HBA1c down from 6.3 to 6.2 so the Victoza is doing the trick even if I think the bg readings are a bit high.
Thyroid, Live and Kidney all OK. Just the cholesterol now - so I shall be trying Pravastatin from next week, having tried simvastatin and rosuvastatin. Cholesterol 6.9, LDL 4.2. Gout playing up gain so she is going to put me on something to prevent that and take some more bloods to get Uric acid reading. Shall miss her when she retires at the end of the month.

Vic,
Hi well done great hbA,hope you get on ok with the new statin.

Congrats on the A1c. Hope the new statin does the trick 🙂

Good stuff Vic, I hope that the new statin helps you get that cholesterol down, and that the doc's replacement is as good as the current one - she sounds like a very good GP 🙂

Good result - nice when someone appreciates it takes hard work, isn't it?

Great news Vic! 🙂
