Hi all,
I have a question that I haven't been able to find an answer to here or on the www and I would appreicate some guidance please. On my Medical record there are two HbA1C test results.
HbA1c (haemoglobin A1c) target level - IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine) standardised - (50 mmol/mol)
Graph of HbA1c levl - IFCC standardised - (58 mmol/mol).
What is the difference?, is one more significant that the other? The first test doesn't have a normal range associated with it and always seems lower than the second result.
Thanks,
Ian.
