HbA1c test on Tuesday........why am I being so naughty

Why, what have you done, you rebellious little thing? XXXXX

Nothing you can do now to alter the result Sheilagh, so don't worry about it - whatever the result, learn from it and renew your resolve 🙂

Eating things that I shouldnt unfortunately. Was hoping for another reduction in my HbA1c and to continue with my diet and exercise regime but think I have let myself down and some of my old ways are have been slipping back like nibbling.

Think they might put me on Metaformin and its all my bl**** fault.

What a fool I have been😱

Wait for the result. This is a big learning exercise and we can't always get it right all the time. You have recognised areas where you 'could do better', so let this be where you seek advice and support so you can achieve it. I hope the numbers aren't as bad as you fear, and that you have renewed motivation to get where you want to be 🙂

If until the last few days you haven't been "naughty" then there shouldn't bee too much impact on your HbA1c. Do you eat more when stressed? If so maybe the anxiety that you are feeling about the results is behind some of your snacking.

I hope that your results will be better than you expect and that you will soon be able to polishing your halo (or is that going too far?) again.

Sheilagh you rebel, hope things go ok for you hun x

Sheilagh its only normal to rebel sometimes. The good news is that you've realised that you're being naughty and can do something about it.....you can make those changes now for the rest of your life not just one HBA1C test......,and being naughty has to happen sometimes:D

Sheilagh, we're all right behind you. I've just had a square of chocolate. We all have to live a little from time to time.

Don't worry, be happy!
Donna 🙂🙂🙂

How can you just have 1 square of chocolate, Donna? I've been naughty recently by eating a whole 120g bar (sigh, only got 1 left, bought a box of 18 cheap, now that's naughty).

Thank you for your support everyone 🙂

Defintely no halo polishing Margie.

But think you have probably hit the nail on the head about anxiety we have just found out the office where I work from will be closing later this year and moving about 50 miles away. Plus the role I am doing isnt very safe at the moment as a lot of the work I do is getting transferred to India

Donna ...............1 piece of chocolate I wish I had that willpower. I am better than i use to be though and now only buy 99 calorie bars.
