HbA1c results

Went to the dn on Tuesday who was her usual negative self, kept me waiting 45 minutes and made no attempt to apologise and then did a rushed blood test and said it was my 6 months review. She warned that if my BG levels were worse than last time when they were 48 I would have to go straight onto the medication and as she put it "stop this messing about with diet and exercise". She said you will be on insulin within seven years but probably before that. Phoned today for the results and they are 36 which is good because it is less than last time, however have to go to see the doctor on 20th, no reason given for that but 🙂 for the results. I think that is about 6.1? I think it shows diet and exercise is working for now.

Excellent Hba1c 🙂. But what a miserable old *** that nurse sounds. I wonder why she is so negative and demoralising, hardly the best way to encourage patients to take care of their health!

Yes an amazing result you should be proud of yourself clearly not as much as your dopy dn.....is it me or is there more grumpy and under qualified dn about! 🙄
