My HbA1c result has just come in the post. It is 39 which is a bit better than the last one (42) and is I think OK. Cholesterol which is not broken down is 3.9 so I think that is alright too. Only not good result seems to be serum urea which is 8.5 mmol and should be between 2.5 and 7.5.As I don't know the significance of that I don't know whether to be alarmed or not. I think I will be pleased with those results 🙂 Next week is the eye screening test, yuk, but has to be done. Isn't this weather gorgeous? 🙂

Those results are brilliant happydog. I'm so happy for you. Well deserved 🙂

OK? OK??? Those are excellent results :happydog! 🙂 Well done! 🙂

Great result happydog! Well done 🙂

A high serum urea level usually means our kidneys are not filtering as effectively as they should. It can sometimes happen when we eat too much protein in the diet. Something to discuss with your GP.

Brilliant results @happydog, really well done!

Thank you everyone. I am pleased that it is down a bit. Will watch the protein in my diet Amigo, thanks for the heads up. Was surprised to get the results today. The new DN said she would send them but I did not really think that she would. Must learn to be more trusting 🙂

Wow, Happy Dog, those results are spot on.🙂
