HbA1c result just in

Prediabetes it is…!

HbA1c of 44 - down from 51 over 8 weeks.

Wish I’d been given 12 weeks to make more of a difference but I suppose with only being at the lower end, it should be much easier to get out of that prediabetes section now so I’m feeling better than I thought I would about it all.

Do GP’s do much with you at this point or do they just sort of leave you to it?
Just got a text saying I’m eligible for the National Diabetes Prevention Programme.

Thanks to everyone who’s chipped in with help and advice since I joined just after Christmas.
You’re a belting bunch and I appreciate you all lots <3

nice one well done

Congratulations. Just carry on and with luck your next result will be well below 42. Start thinking about how you will keep it there in future!

That's a great drop - well done. Keep doing what you're doing and hopefully you'll have got yourself below 'at risk' next time.

Well done @Quill that's a great result.

I went from 51 down to 46 and the comments on my records say "safe and satisfactory for this patient".
That said, I am 72 and not on any medication

Ahhh brilliant!
Not on any meds either and hoping not to be any time soon.
Best just keeping to what I’ve been doing I guess 🙂

Spot on, keep doing whatever your doing, because it's working for you and that's all that matters

Fantastic result given it is not even the full 12 weeks. Keep doing what you have and you will get there. Hopefully it is a regime that you can sustain, a new way of eating.

Yeah it’s definitely something I can keep up with an occasional indulgence so I don’t go mad, haha!
Feel like I can breathe a bit better now that the result is in - and again knowing it’s only been 8 weeks and not the 12 🙂

Well done and in such a short time too
What ever you are doing is working so keep at it 🙂
A good foundation to work on for the future

Wow well done, that's awesome. If you can do that in eight weeks just imagine how much better it will be in another six months or so x

Well done @Quill .Great result in such a short time. Keep this up and you will soon be underneath the diabetes radar.:D

Delighted for you. Congrats!

Well done you, what a great result 🙂
