As I posted a few months ago, last October my level had gone down from 54 to 48 (Type 2). A couple of weeks ago I had more bloods taken and the diabetes nurse phoned to say it was now down to 45. What I forgot to ask was about intermittent fasting, which my doctor agreed was a good thing to do. I don't eat between around 6pm and just after noon the following day. (I've always done that). The day my bloods were taken was around 10:30am, so is it possible that my fasting is what gave the 45 result, and that therefore it might not be an accurate reflection of the real level? Many thanks.
