Type 2
I was diagnosed with type 2 in September 2022 with a reading of 50 mmol. I was advised my target for next six month blood test in March 23 was 48 mmol
I embarked on lower carb diet, cut out sugar, and walked ever day. I had my results today and they were stated as 36 mmol. Its seems a huge drop but no advice from my surgery, just another test in 6 months.
I dont know what to do now as no guidance from surgery.

Keep on doing what you have done so far and give yourself a pat on the back?

Carry on doing what you have done. It clearly works. Well done

I did 83 to 36 in 3 months and was told to 'Carry on what you're doing'.

Your surgery should have given you a medal! I mean absolutely seriously. Very well done!

And, as everyone else has said-- keep doing what you're doing, as it clearly works for you.

That is some result, well done, a remarkable achievement in such a short space of time - keep it up.... 🙂

Hi PIERREABER, congratulations on all your hard work paying off!

Getting you BS levels down quickly is an achievement though can also require your body to need some time to get used to the adjustment so continue with what you've been doing but be gentle with yourself to ensure the lifestyle change works for you long term.
