having my diabetic review today just hope i don't have problems giving blood as i am a real mean sod. 😡 many times i have ended up like a pin cushion.

they are also doing some other stuff not sure what as the receptionist put it in some secret code 🙄
 
I hope it all goes well esp with the vampire.
I have to have the really experienced phlebotomist at my practice as my veins do a runner , so you have my sympathy.
 
well i am in shock got weighed and have lost nearly 2 stone question though is it to do with the loss and what i was put through over the last months or that the diabetes is beginning to stabilize? who knows

just had some bad news the infection they thought had gone has only come back again :(

Ah no! Sorry to hear about the returning infection Mikey :(

It wouldn’t be surprising if everything you had gone through had resulted in weight loss. Has your grief caused any loss of appetite?
 
when the loss first happened my appetite went on me but then came back basically eating what i have normally ate that is why i don't get the weight loss.

it could be as you say with what i have been through grief then the crime on top but at the same time when there is weight loss without dieting it does get the alarm bells ringing at the surgery.
it looks like when i had the Hba1c done they have done other blood works so will have to wait to see what comes in.
at the moment i am not at risk of going under weight but just don't want it to continue or problems will set in.
 
should of added total loss so far is 1st 4lbs many would give their right arm to loose that but when you are not dieting then it could be anything going on.
 
just had a phone call to discuss the results just after Easter but i have access to results online so when they all come back i should be able to report if it is good or not so good or bad. i also mentioned the weight loss so will be discussing that when the time comes.

for now keep watching this space for the Hba1c result

thought they would of had the results in by now nothing showing in patient access Mike. pretty sure they are hiding them somewhere under a desk as they said they want to speak to me about them
