Hi but if a strange question but I am havin my HBA1C done today after month of hard work losing a stone.
BUT last night I lost my head and ate a magnum! Kicking myself.

do you think this may give me a bad reading?
I will reschedule if yes.
the last thing I want is more meds.
I know it’s meant to be an average read but worrying it could still affect it.

blummin magnum ice creams and their addictive qualities! :(

Don’t worry. The HBa1c tests your glucose over the last six to eight weeks ( or more) . Last night’s blip shouldn’t effect it. Good luck.

Eggy is dead right - one magnum is not going to do anything to your HbA1c although the loss of a stone might well be beginning to show!

By the way, Magnums are one of the few ice creams my system can tolerate but I would not rely on my system predicting how yours will behave. 🙂
