I go for 3 month review week today, its not a fasting test is it?
How long do i wait for results?

Hba1c test isn't fasting because it captures averages over the past 10-12 weeks. However if you're having your lipids tested too (cholesterol levels etc.), sometimes the doctor asks for a fasting test because the triglyceride level is more accurate fasting (allegedly).
Usually the results are sent to your GP electronically within a day or two but doesn't mean they're necessarily available to us. I'd ring after 3 days though.
