Sorry not been posting much for quite a while,i have been sat here debating weather to write this post as right at the moment i dont feel i deserve help or advice, over the last couple of months i have been very down i have taken next to no medication nd have even thought about ending it all but thankfuly have got past that stage as i know i have so much to carry on for, i realised tonight that i need to sort my self out so have now taken my insulin and will be going to see the doctor tomorrow this is my first big step in getting back to normal,im just not sure if i can handle the diabetes side on my own,so i guess im hoping you guys will give me a helping hand now and again.
Thank you for just being here
Carole

Hi Caroleann
You have moved in the right direction by admitting your mistake and writing it down here. Sorry you got to the stage that youwanted to end it all, but that would be of no use , what about your family, you would have made them suffer. Now that you are beginning to start again by taking your insulin is a very good move, take things one at a time, and build yourself up slowley, remember you did it beforeyou can do it again. You know you have the suppoert of everyone here. If I can be of help in any way, feel free to message me. Be good try and sleep well tonight.

John.

My dear Carole, very sorry to hear that you have been feeling so down :( I am so glad you found the courage to write this -we are ALWAYS here to help you when you feel like this, so please don't feel that you are undeserving in any way - that will never be the case!

I hope that you have a good appointment with your doctor and that things will begin to get brighter for you from now on. Just take things one step at a time and let us know how you are getting on. Wishing you well {{{Carole}}}

Hi carole, it is a big step towards getting better in admitting there are problems and a very brave one asking for help. I hope you feel better soon. Wouldn't it be nice to wave a magic wand and make it all go away....

Hi Carole,
Have a huge ((((((((((((((((hug)))))))))))))))))) for today and any day you need one.
Hope your GP can guide you through this difficult time and you will soon be feeling so much better in yourself.

Sending my best wishes

Sue.

Glad your feeling more positive, and I often only post on here when I need help, and regardless of that the peeps here are wonderful with advice and positive vibes, a few months ago i was very down and felt there was no light ahead, there was and is, so keep on keeping on, and don't ever feel you can't ask for help, x 🙂

Hi Carolanne

Hope the GP visit was productive and glad you're turning a corner.

I have my 3 month visit with the nurse next week and need to bring up the subject of depression. Not sure what help is available but reading these forums has made me realise I'm not so alone with how I feel at times.

Keep going - you're worth it.

So pleased you felt able to post and thank you for being so honest and open - that is a great step to take and you should feel very proud of yourself for it.

The psychological impact of dealing with D every day is so often overlooked and I really hope your GP can help you/refer you to get some good solid support.

Look forward to hearing how things are going - and feel free to offload here any time. It's one of the best things about this place.

I'm so sorry that you have been feeling so down Caroleann.
Please don't ever feel that you don't deserve help that is what this forum is all about and personally I have found the people here so kind.
I hope all goes well for you at the doctors and I'm sending you a hug(((Caroleann)))

Great to hear you are feeling more positive Carole 🙂 I hope that the new doctor proves to be a good 'un! 🙂

Saw the doctor to night as i have had a lot of headaches and feeling dizzy today, when i sat down she looked at my lips and told me i was dehydrated and after further questions and exam told me i had labyinthitis inner ear infection and she is getting me to see a counceler, funny how a locum doctor will do more then your own doctor

Great that you have had the diagnosis - a friend of mine struggled with this for quite some time before being diagnosed. Hope you recover soon 🙂

I'm so pleased you are getting sorted out. I hope you are feeling better very soon. This really is a great place to belong.
