Thank you for your good wishes. I still enjoyed my chocolates as they were a treat and not something I do all the time, but am interested in how other mums who are diabetic dealt with the chocolates or sweet treats.

Glad you enjoyed those chocolates. All mum's deserve a treat at least once a year!
It never ceases to amaze me how much mums do for their families throughout the year, often without acknowledgement, so it's nice to be able to say so somewhere like this.

Thank you. It is nice to have an acknowledgement. I'm lucky as I don't have too much to contend with with my children, but I know others have a tremendous ammount on their plates.
