Thank you people for my Birthday wishes, much appreciated.
Mrs Alan bought me a new mobile phone, my other one was about 15 years old, umm maybe a bit older.
Jeez, how technology has move on, spent most of the day trying to turn the bloody thing on and answer calls. It would seem I can talk to it and it will talk back to me, it also has a camera and a torch. It's a bit like my sat nav in the car, but on steroids. Oh yes, it vibrates, like it's just been electrocuted and if you pick it up while vibrating you turn into a jelly man.
I had to take it into a phone shop to get my contacts changed over to the new phone and they couldn't do it, they said my old phone wasn't compatible with anything they had which could do it, I've never seen so much head scratching and smirking, even other customers were looking at it and asking what it was.
Took the dogs into town, showed them the phone shop, not impressed at all, so took them into Costa and Amber (the hooligan of the two) tried to steel someone's muffin thingy, maybe I shouldn't have said, (possible in a loudish voice) "that not good for you, it's full of sugar". yep we left quickish.
Carried on walking around town and the dogs did enjoy meeting other dogs and doing lots of bum sniffing, could you imagine it, if humans did that when we met other humans in the street, actually, try not to imagine it.
Looking forward now to a nice meal, a good bottle of the red stuff and the company of Mrs Alan and two silly dogs
Love and best wishes
