2 years, to the day, since I got the stunning news that I am a type 2 diabetic.

Much has changed since that day, for one I now consider myself a well controlled diabetic, with FBG sitting around 5 each dat and last A1c being 37.

Year 1 was a year of highs & lows, literally & figuratively as my BG was all over the place along with the mood swings, fortunately I survived & figured upon a strategy to maintain my BG levels; year 2 was great, looking forward to year 3.

I appreciate all the support & encouragement that the members of this forum have given me, it makes my journey a lot easier being able to interact & share with fellow D's (whatever their flavor)

all the best to you and your other half hehe

Happy Diaversary Martin, you've done a great job of getting a handle on things 🙂

I am reminded of Her Majesty's response to 'How are you?' recently - 'Well, I'm still alive' with a laugh, is the usual one.

It's more of a congratulation on making it OK thus far, than anything to actually sort of celebrate. And I applaud your congratulating yourself - cos we most likely all ought to do it more than our Stiff Upper Lip breeding conditioned us NOT to !

But I'll gladly add mine to yours, even though you're still an infant LOL

Well done Martin. You've used the 2 years to effect amazing improvements.

Aye, well done Martin, especially living in a supersize country:D You've really nailed a comfortably achievable diet and lifestyle that's working just fine keeping you well.

Here's to two years, and here's to many, many more.🙂

Well done and happy diaversary! Its good to read success stories like yours 🙂

Happy Diaversary, Martin.🙂
