Ah I did not fully grasp the situation. That’s is a lot to cope with . All the best of luck . Have you tried the Aveeno range ?
No I haven't as they all come in loose tubes but I've bought some silicone travel tubes to decant loose tubes into so will be able to try more now xx

Blimey not a easy one! When my partner was a builder his hands were sometimes cut to shreds and the only thing that worked was the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream, he only needed a thin layer too. But it’s not in a box!

Is it greasy? Difficult to wash off? xx

I don’t find it so when I only use a little, but I’d say it takes a little longer than OKeefe’s to absorb for me if I squeeze out more generously

Thanks Mike, that Weleda Skin Food just isn't for me, far too greasy and took forever to wash off meaning my hands were put through more washing than they normally are! I'll have to pass it on to either my mum or Bruce lol xx

Ah that’s a shame. I only ever put it on last thing at night for chapped winter hands, and it had ‘gone’ by the morning.

Hope you find one that works for you, and glad you have some silicon tubes to decant creams into.

I am sensitive to greasy skin and hate that feeling of a having a film over my hands (or face). Personally, even with a small amount of Neutrogena, my hands felt greasy.
We are all different and are sensitive to different textures so maybe what I think is greasy you may not.
I know Neutrogena is popular so I am not surprised that @nonethewiser has no problems with it. It is probably just a texture I don't like.

No I'm exactly as you describe so might not try it out lol xx

From what you have said I would not think you would like the texture of Neutrogenia.

Thanks my lovely, won't waste my money then haha xx

I used to use when I worked, and was always washing and or using alcohol gel all day.

Well Neutrogena is odd, in that it isn't creamy! It comes out of the tube in a thin spiral, the diameter of the hole in the tube - akin to paint that artists use, or even a new tube of toothpaste but much smaller. You cannot imagine that tiny blob of it spreading over both your hands - but it just does, as soon as it absorbs the heat from your palm and then from the other palm - and I swear my hands sigh in relief as it starts sinking in. Never made my hands feel in the slightest greasy or 'coated'.

Sounds thick like Lidl's SOS cream with glycerine in which case it wouldn't be very suitable at the moment anyway as I can't rub too hard with my hand being burnt and blistering xx

It does need alot of rubbing in, from my experience.

Would it be ok for you to put a tube in a small plastic bag that you know only you’ve touched or is that a non starter?

If it's a loose tube someone somewhere has touched it previously so it's a no unfortunately, I don't even touch things Bruce or my mum have touched which makes life extremely difficult xx
