I watched it last night & was really impressed with this recipe. I love lasagne & intend to give it a try. Hope next prog is as good.

Has anyone seen this? My daughter sent me the link, and I've just picked up the 'Skinny Lasagne' recipe which looks really good with very few carbs -

Interesting idea to use leeks instead of lasagne. The carb count could be reduced slightly more by using unsweetened soya milk in the sauce (I find it gives a creamier result and doesn't seem to taste any different). I might try this with Quorn as I'm veggie - would definitely need to add some oil though.

hairey dieters

such a good program glad they mentoned Rosemary Conley classes. I did that diet and i found the recipies really good and less fat and kept levels down.

As part of my trial to prove how much my BGs vary, I made the 'special cassoulet' from this programme, and am going to eat it every day for the next 4 days! Fortunately it is delicious! Anyone else tried it?

Although I'm not sure it is quite as low in calories as they say, I have a database I use to calculate nutritional information, I used the information from the packs of food and it came to 583 not 464 calories per serving

Tempted to try but not too sure how this could be for dieters with sausages (2 per person) in it! Perhaps I'll substitute the bangers with Quorn sausages.

Depends what your diet allows, but it is only 583 calories even with my full fat 85% meat sausages (but only one per person, also chicken thigh and gammon, so you don't need more) very filling with a pile of cabbage, I had fruit salad afterwards and didn't feel hungry later. I recommend it!
