I didn't know about the waxing thing either and have just had mine done ready for my hols. My skin is usually sore/spots after shaving delicate areas but waxing has minimised this, so I am happy to keep doing it.
In the important information for that product it says not suitable for people with diabetes. I guess because if you are losing nerve sensitivity you could sand your legs too much and cause cuts which you may not notice.
