Relationship to Diabetes

Hi, I have had diabetes for 44 years now and am generally mercifully very well. I live in Norwich where NHS commissioners have decided not to implement the NICE recommendations on blood glucose sensors. I am doing what I can to raise the issue with politicians, doctors, the media etc and get justice for the 6500 type 1 diabetics in Norfolk and Waveney who are affected by the delay. If you know of anyone in Norfolk who is being disadvantaged by the delay, please read my thread on the main message board and encourage them to complain to Norfolk Healthwatch. Good luck to everyone dealing with diabetes on a daily basis.

Sorry to hear your area has decided to delay a widening of access to CGM :(
