Hello Brian

I'm 71 years of age and been type 2 for 5 years next month, I've given up trying to understand how this works 🙂

Hi Brian, welcome to the forum 🙂 You'll find lots of friendly, experienced people here so please ask any questions you may have - nothing is considered 'silly'!

Even though you've been diagnosed 10 years, you might benefit from a good 'refresher'. A lot of people here recommend Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker - helps put the whole thing in perspective and gives you a good grounding for managing your diabetes well.

I look forward to hearing more from you 🙂
