Last week, when treating ourselves to coffee in Harrods, I picked up the February version of the Harrods' magazine to see how the rich world lives. In it was an article on Fedon Lindberg and his diet

Lindberg, F (2006), The Greek Doctor's Diet, London: Pan Macmillan

Whilst not specifically on diabetes, it does cover the area and makes interesting if challenging reading. It lead me to revisit

Denby, N and Baic, S (2006), The GL Diet for Dummies, Chichester:
John Wiley and Sons Ltd

I followed up the link in there to Harvard's University School of Public Health Medicine's work on what a healthy diet should be like given all the research done over the past decade or so and here's a link to their food pyramid information

Harvard nutritionist's are lobbying hard to get the USA to update their existing guidance which is rather dated
