Just wanted to tell whole world Have had a great check-up appointment. They picked me up at 930am. Had a good ride round the coutryside. Got there a out ten mins b4 appointment. No sooner had i sad down than the nurse called me in to take bloods for hbhc1 etc. Saw the dr she was a sweetie bless her.. Asked me how things were diabetic and MH wise. She was really pleased with my weight loss, now stands at SIX stone. Asked about the weight loss jabs but she said i didt need it as i was doing so well on current meds including the dragon (something) Its in my sig. Then I asked the killer question do you have my hbc1 and she did it was 44 omg i nearly did a jig She said thats in the pre-diabetic range. I cant believe it. Told here my goal was coming off the insulin she said she would decrease it by 4 units down to 40. And that it may be possible to come off eventyally . She also said that i would have this years annual app. Then if things were going so well they wood discharge me from the EBC at the N&N. and send me back to the care of the GP
Guess whos a happy bunny All that hard work is paying out

Brilliant news @gail2. I'm so chuffed for you. :star:

Great news Gail. No wonder you are chuffed to bits. An excellent HbA1c result. To confirm what others have already said. Keep on doing what you are doing ! Onwards and downwards as they say on the forum. Well done :star:

Brilliant News @gail2 well done on both the weight loss & reduction of your Hba1c

All round a fabulous appointment, and very well done on your stellar HbA1c @gail2 . That must be tricky to achieve on the style of insulin you take.

Keep up the good work.

Well done... carry on with all the good (and hard) work.

Fantastic news Gail and a great reward for all of your hard work.
I feel you are such a spontaneous person who likes to put it out there how they feel and that is such a lovely natural quality to have so please never change.
Have a lovely w/ end

Sorry your signature is quite long so I didn’t notice you’re on semaglutide tablets. That’s ozempic. You already take the weight loss jabs you mentioned asking about.

Ah that’s fab news @gail2

You should feel very proud of yourself :star: :star: :star:
