Granola isn’t something I eat at home but a few times now at hotels I’ve really enjoyed having yoghurt and granola

I’d like to try recreating this at home. But I’ve never bought granola before and the yoghurt always tastes nicer than any I have at home - less tangy, more creamy

Granola
Do you buy it or make your own, looking at the packaged ones that looked healthier I found such a range of carb content! Highest of the ones I looked at was 74% carbs and lowest 8% carbs!

Have attached photo of the lowest one, the ingredients look simple, maybe I could just mix those ingredients up myself, or add some of them to a premade box to bulk it out a bit? I’m not looking for a no carb breakfast, some carbs is fine but don’t want too spiky either, about 20 carbs overall for breakfast would be good.

I really liked the coconut and apricot pieces in the granola I’ve had this week, and the seeds though I don’t know what they are.

Yoghurt
What is it likely to be about hotel yoghurt that has that smooth creamy taste, without the tangy side of yoghurt I get at home?

I buy either ASDA or ALDI Greek style full fat yoghurt and it is nice and creamy.
As you say the granolas vary hugely but the KETO ones are much lower in carbs but generally more expensive.
The Keto Hana ones sound as if they have similar ingredients to the packet in your picture (couldn't quite see what make it is) but is pretty pricy, but 9g carb per 100g. I also buy Lizi's low sugar granola 45g carb per 100g which I mix 50/50 with the other one so it ends up about 26g carb per 100g.
It depends if you want gluten free ones as well.
I think there are several recipes around for home made granola but as long as you get the base right you can add what you like.

Hadn’t heard of keto hana but wow £7.49 for 300g, the M&S grain free one i thought was pricey at £5 for 360g but at 8g carb per 100g you’d be better off buying that instead

I could buy a couple and mix them as the M&S grain free one sounds like it has more of my favourite bits in it.

Think I’m settled on giving this one a go first, £3.60 for 300g, 18% carb, gluten free and first ingredient is the coconut I liked. Not sure about the chocolate but the other flavour was peanut butter.

Will add yoghurt to my online shop too, ‘Greek style natural yoghurt’ is the one sold

I have bought bigger bags or got on 2 for 1 deal at H & B but will definitely look for the M&S one. Thanks for that.
I did buy a cheaper one on Amazon but it was not nearly as nice so I used it with ground almonds and extra seeds and butter to make a fruit crumble topping.

Tesco own brand Greek style yoghurt (square box) doesn't have the 'tangy' taste and is creamy to me.

I buy full fat Greek yoghurt as its more flavoursome so you don't need to add anything to sweeten the taste. There's a great recipe for homemade granola on the BBC good food website - I change it up to have different nuts etc each time I make it.

Saw these in Booths today and picked up to try, £3.55 each (special offer). There was a third flavour which I think was pecan. I don’t normally live near Booths so unsure if they’re available in the southern supermarkets.
