Nine university graduates have been taken on by health organisations as part of the East Midlands NHS internship programme.
Seven University of Leicester and two De Montfort University graduates will take up various roles in organisations including the University Hospitals of Leicester, East Midlands Health Innovation Education Cluster (EM HIEC) at the University of Leicester, Health Education East Midlands in Ruddington, and Nottingham University Hospitals.
Dr Chetna Modi, associate director of the EM HIEC, said: "This is a fantastic scheme, and I'm delighted to be welcoming our new interns."
