PEOPLE in Mid Devon are being invited to an event, taking place in Chulmleigh this weekend, which has been organised by a Mid Devon girl who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of two.
Nine-year-old Grace Sinclair knows just how seriously Type 1 Diabetes can affect daily life and, supported by her parents and sister, Grace decided to show her support for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) by organising a whole host of refreshments, games and a raffle to raise funds at a coffee morning taking place at Chulmleigh Town Hall on Saturday, February 21, from 9am to 11am.
JDRF is a Type 1 Diabetes charity that works to improve the lives of the children and teenagers who suffer from the condition, while also raising funds to help research find a cure.
