GP Review Monday - Guess the HbA1c

Got my 6 month GP review on monday - my last HbA1c was 6.8 (51 mmol/mol) up from previous 6.5 and my cholesterol was 4.2 (up slightly from previous 3.9).

I'm hoping both will have come down some what 😱

Had my bloods taken today and will call surgery thurs /fri for results.

They have agreed to change my prescription for needles to 6 mm and have been told to not inject in my thighs until the lumps and bruises have gone.

Also agreed to new testing strips and needles for my new meter.... So good start. Let's hope for an improvement in the Hba1c's!

PS down 3 kilo since last weight check

8 mm nurse was horrified lol.. I quote she said you are way to thin for these.. My thighs are a right mess at the moment x

They're like javelins! Hope the 6s are much more comfortable - I agree, you're far too thin for 8s 😉
