After soooo long of ignoring the pains in my left arm and hand ive finally took off my stubborn head and booked in to see doc next week. Its been excrusiating(sp?) for to long now and came to a climax at work on Friday when i could not wash the dishes cause the pain was so bad...

I have told a few people and they say trapped nerve could be the cause but the tips of my fingers just feel hot all the time..... Ill let you know what the doctor has to say on the matter soon.

PS seems like ages ive written in this part of the forum 🙄

I hope they can get to the bottom of it Steff, and that the treatment is quick and simple 🙂 And it is ages! 😉

Steff, do you have trouble gripping things and get a very stiff thumb joint as well as the pains? Does your hand feel weak?

If so it could be carpal tunnel syndrome. I had it and had to have a steroid injection in my left wrist. It is also more prevalent in diabetics.

Hope all goes wellatthe docs and is something easily treatable. It may also be an RSI.

I had a lot of pain in my shoulder where little feller likes to fall alseep on me. We changed the way he falls asleep and I did some tai chi for arthritis which helped it a lot and I saw the doctor who gave me some anit inflamatry pain killers which I now only need to take occaisionally.

Thanks Caroline that had also crossed my mind

Good luck Steff x
