Hi all

In a good mood today. My lovely nurse has given me some novorapid to use at lunch times. This will help me hugely until the DAFNE course in mid January. 🙂

Fantastic Megan, I hope she even went as far as to explain how to use it.

Well at the moment I am to only inject 2 units and increase my morning mixed insulin. Plus I have to get up at 2am as suggested by people on here to check I'm not having night time hypos that are then causing morning highs.

Oh that's a very stately (conservative!) start! But I'm all for doing stuff slowly. Will be v interested to learn how you get on!

Well, I'm all for doing a bit of tweaking over time. If I can get all my levels before meals down then I may not even need it.

Problem with a mix is that I know I need more basal but I can't increase it without increasing the rapid in the mix too. It's very frustrating lol
