Hi I am nervous about seeing the nurse after getting a call back after my 2nd blood test. I'm presuming it will be a change of diet but as my appointment is not for another 8 days, is there anything I should be doing meanwhile?

Yes, stop worrying. It’s as likely good news as bad, you won’t know till you get there.

Nothing you do in the next 8 days will change things anyway. Never ever worry about things you can’t change. That’s how I try to live.🙂

As a type two, if you are lucky just reducing carbohydrate in your diet and checking your blood glucose can work wonders.
It might well be nothing to worry about, but if you have a guilty conscience cutting out high carb foods will alter your blood glucose levels in an hour or so, and your metabolism will start heading back towards normal.
I was an uncontrolled diabetic for about 15 minutes - it had no chance. Knowledge is power.

Hi Saffron, try not to worry, if it was anything really important they wouldn’t be waiting 8 days 😉
