This highly irritating app installed itself (or maybe it is an updated variant) on my Pixel 6 Android 13 phone. Whereas "search by image" can be useful this is just irritating. It just keeps popping up all the time - I do not want to search on my latest Libre BG, Libre's loss of connection, a page on this forum and indeed most other things. Has anybody successfully disabled this without knock on effects. I have Googled it but when I follow it through it suggests I may lose other (unspecified) functionality and will be hidden making me reluctant to go further. Android and Windows are getting increasingly frustrating! :(
 
Can you explain what you mean? Is this the feature to search by circling the item on the screen that you wish to search for? Do you actually have a Lens icon somewhere?

I’m feeling hard done by, I have a 6a with Android 14 and don’t seem to have a separate app.
