This highly irritating app installed itself (or maybe it is an updated variant) on my Pixel 6 Android 13 phone. Whereas "search by image" can be useful this is just irritating. It just keeps popping up all the time - I do not want to search on my latest Libre BG, Libre's loss of connection, a page on this forum and indeed most other things. Has anybody successfully disabled this without knock on effects. I have Googled it but when I follow it through it suggests I may lose other (unspecified) functionality and will be hidden making me reluctant to go further. Android and Windows are getting increasingly frustrating!

Can you explain what you mean? Is this the feature to search by circling the item on the screen that you wish to search for? Do you actually have a Lens icon somewhere?

I’m feeling hard done by, I have a 6a with Android 14 and don’t seem to have a separate app.
