I'm posting this here as I thought it might reassure anyone who's just been diagnosed, and is worried

I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in July 1998, and put on Metformin and insulin injections, which I continue to take

I had my annual diabetic eye test last week and have just got the results, which are good "....you do not need treatment at this time...."

In fact, during Lockdown I have been making model planes and doing some leatherwork, which includes fine hand stitching, without any problems

So, understand what's going on, follow the advice, and you'll be OK

Good advice🙂
