Today my consultant phoned re the gastric emptying study. He said that the results were 'normal' so I do not have gastroparesis. 🙂 He said that my diabetes control is very bad though and as this is unexplained, and not through want of trying, he is having a chat with the diabetes consultant to try to sort something out asap. Hopefully heading in the right direction.

A positive result, lets hope the 2 consultants getting their heads together can start you off to to better levels etc.

:D

That's god news, just hope they can sort things out for you.

Glad to hear it's not gastroparesis newbs 🙂 I hope that they can figure something out to help you get better control 🙂

That's brilliant news Newbs. As I've had a bad bout with it during the last 24 hours I'm really, really glad that you haven't got it.

Thank you everyone.

Amanda - thank you so much for your support over the past several months - I am really sorry to hear you are having a bad time at the moment. I hope you are feeling much better again soon.

Newbs, that's great news. Let's hope they can find a workable solution for the Big D soon.

Very glad to hear you don't have gastroparesis 🙂. Hopefully you will get some good support re your diabetes management, perhaps you'd consider a pump?

I hope you get a diagnosis soon and then you can get the proper treatment. Good luck with it alland for a positive outcome :D

Take good care.

I would consider a pump, I'd consider anything right now, so plan to discuss this with my consultant when I meet with him. I've never been considered before as they have always said my HbA1c has been too good. I'm hoping they might reconsider following this nightmare of control that I've been going through for months now. Fingers crossed anyway.
